Zero or No Meko Silicone is the new-generation MEKO-free oxime. It is odourless, safer for users and environmentally friendly. Its curing speed, adhesion, mechanical properties and more are comparable to those of conventional MEKO silicones.

Application areas
The product offers excellent adhesion on a wide range of substrates without priming, including concrete, masonry, brick, wood, aluminium (lacquered, anodised and painted), PVC, glass, ceramics and most plastics.
Zero Meko Silicone is all-purpose and suitable for use in general construction both indoors and outdoors. It can be used to seal mirrors and glass joints, metal surface joints, joints in sanitary rooms and kitchens, ventilation pipe connections, other penetrations and interior and exterior expansion joints, and for the weather sealing of windows, doors and facades.
Wolf Group offers all neutral-cure silicones MEKO-free. They are available in cartridges and sausages.
Why should MEKO be avoided?
Oxime silicones based on methyl ethyl ketoxime are considered to be carcinogenic. Protective gloves and masks are required, as well as sufficient ventilation. In some countries, silicones based on MEKO have been outlawed.
