Indrek started work in Wolf Group while he was still studying in university. “Go to work as early as you can,” he suggests. “I worked two days a week and the rest of the time, I was studying at university. I wanted to become an engineer and my goal was to build factories. But when the lecturer mentioned that Wolf Group was looking for a junior chemist, I thought, why not try.”

“My job was to develop self-expanding tapes and perform laboratory tests. Once, I decided to find a solution for dealing with production scrap and developed my own method. The production director noticed me for that and a year later, I became a production engineer.”

Indrek has been working in the company since 2017. One of the reasons he has stayed here is his co-workers in production, who regularly organise joint events and spend time together outside of work.

Kaur joined Wolf Group in his final year of university. He studied industrial engineering and one of his lecturers was the Production Director at Wolf Group. He recommended applying for the position of a shift supervisor in the sealants department in a public competition.

“I would recommend for anyone who sees themselves as a future leader to start at the level of a first level manager in production. It gives you the skills for the main jobs, on which you can then build your further career,” he says. Kaur mentions that he likes that you can receive calls from the USA, Spain, Russia and Germany all within a week. The development centre and head office are located in Estonia and all the important decisions are made here. As Kaur says − the magic happens here!

“I would like to thank my former manager, who was very supportive and demanding. If I did something wrong, I got told off, but when he felt that I was struggling, he helped me out, ” says Kaur.
