Investing in a happier society

Part of being a successful enterprise is giving back to society. Wolf Group supports initiatives that aim to solve pressing social problems – ones that people usually close their eyes to and that are easier to ignore. Projects aimed at children, young people and parents have historically been the ones that have received most groups’ attention. Wolf Group is a partner you can rely on.

Wrestling Federation (Estonia)

Wolf Group’s brand PENOSIL has been sponsoring the Estonian Wrestling Federation (Eesti Maadlusliit) since 2018, contributing financially to promoting children’s and youth wrestling. Strong and healthy youngsters who don’t just spend time on their devices but take pleasure in physical activity are the capital for our future.

Wrestling has been popular throughout history. There are enthusiasts all over Estonia, even in its remotest corners: 51 wrestling clubs, 2200 wrestlers and 300-400 amateurs. Alongside professional sports, amateur sports often go noticed. For us, it is especially important to support a mental and physical balance among our adolescent population.

Wolf Group founder Jaanus Paeväli is a former wrestler and has served as the president of the Estonian Wrestling Federation since 2016.

For our wrestling sponsorship campaign, a specially designed construction foam (PENOSIL Premium Gunfoam), acrylic sealant (PENOSIL Premium Acrylic Sealant), silicone (PENOSIL Premium Universal Silicone) and hybrid adhesive (PENOSIL Premium SpeedFix High Tack) were launched. Five cents from the sale of each of these products goes to wrestling promotion. In 2018, the products were labelled with the EV100 stamp: the range was a gift marking the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia.

Emotion is the driving force in every field. Our wrestling products have been very well received by our customers.

Adolescent Resource Centre (Latvia)

Via the Adolescent Resource Centre, which was established as part of the Children’s Hospital Foundation (Bernu Slimnicas Fonds), Wolf Group supports a mental health project in Latvia aimed at young people. Mental health is gaining increasing attention in Latvia and will be one of the main focus areas for the Ministry of Health over the next couple of years. Teenagers suffer from depression and other mental health problems, and very often they or their parents have nowhere to turn to. Youngsters have suffered in particular during the pandemic: they have long been isolated from their schools and friends. At the same time, there is a lot of bullying on social media.

The Adolescent Resource Centre boasts a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive, fully-fledged assistance that meets the individual needs of each adolescent and their family. The team consists of 34 specialists: clinical psychologists, pediatric psychiatrists, adolescent narcotic specialists, nutritionists, mentors, social workers, psychotherapists, CBT therapists, sports coaches, physiotherapists and awareness and art group leaders.

Five cents from the sale of specially designed products (PENOSIL All Purpose Gunfoam 172, PENOSIL SpeedFix Construction 878, PENOSIL Sanitary Silicone 313 / 313c) goes to the Adolescent Resource Centre.

Triumf Health (Spain)

Triumf Health was founded in 2016 in Estonia by Dr. Kadri Haljas, who holds a PhD in psychology. Her passion for mental health innovation led to the creation of Triumfland Saga, a mobile game designed to enhance children’s mental health. Based on clinical research, the game guides children on an enjoyable journey through Triumfland, teaching them skills to build resilience. This well-being game targets children aged 7 to 12, as 50% of mental health problems manifest by the age of 14.

Although Triumf Health is an Estonian start-up, the evidence-based game has a global reach – it is available in nine languages. Wolf Group, a leading European manufacturer, supports the launch of the Triumfland Saga in Spain. The first school to implement the game is Colegio Santo Angel in Gavà, Spain. The region is extremely important to Wolf Group, as it is home to the second-largest production unit for foams, sealants, and adhesives. The children of employees attending schools in the Barcelona area are supported by the company, which hopes that facilitating the implementation of the game in Gavà will be the first significant step towards creating a healthier environment and fostering a community that benefits from lifelong positive mental health habits among students.

The initial trial at Colegio Santo Angel for the 2025 academic year involves onboarding teachers who will incorporate the game into daily activities through workshops and discussions. This initiation demands significant commitment from the school, particularly in terms of having a personal stake, training teachers, and fostering motivation. Therefore, having an innovative and forward-thinking partner is highly valued.
