Wolf Group OÜ has acquired the business activities of Libace OÜ, a manufacturer and packager of aerosol products in Pärnu County.
Wolf Group and aerosol products manufacturer Libace have been cooperating for years. The company, based in Libatse, Pärnu County, has mainly produced construction foam cleaners for Wolf Group. The current cooperation will now continue as a single business model.
Wolf Group sees potential to grow its technical aerosols business and increase development activities. “Supported by the increased production capacity, we want to offer new solutions to our existing customers in the construction sector,” says Peeter Tohver, CEO of Wolf Group. “The plant that specialises in a single area allows the company’s Tallinn factory to focus on the production of sealants and foams.”
All Libace employees, including the current production manager Ragne Pirsi, will be members of Wolf Group.
“The transaction will create new opportunities that will help strengthen the group’s position as a manufacturer and distributor of technical aerosols,” says Peter Tohver. “We see new opportunities on all of our sales markets, especially in the US and the EU. Aerosols with improved valves, which are easier to use and guarantee a longer shelf life, have been well received, in particular in the US.”
Wolf Group is Europe’s leading manufacturer of construction chemicals and materials. In addition to its 14 sales units, Wolf Group now has five production plants in Estonia, Spain, France and Russia. Most recently, in 2019, Wolf Group acquired the Spanish silicone, sealants and adhesives producer Olivé Química S.A. The group’s main product brands are PENOSIL and Tempsi.
