Europe’s leading building materials manufacturer and distributor Wolf Group OÜ has established a new entity in Germany.
Wolf Group Deutschland GmbH is the 14th sales branch of the group, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. In recent years, the D-A-CH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) has emerged as the primary focus for the Wolf Group. The establishment of Wolf Group Deutschland GmbH is a strategic step in further strengthening the company’s position on this key market.
Wolf Group CEO Peeter Tohver and Managing Director of Wolf Group Deutschland Melanie Beinker-Wahl are confident that the new entity will enhance the company’s flagship brand, Penosil. “We’re convinced that we’ll be able to sell Penosil more widely in this region,” Tohver says. “The very positive feedback we got from professionals at BAU 2023 exceeded all of our expectations.” Beinker-Wahl adds that the expansion will significantly improve the availability of home-brand products and elevate the company’s service level for D-A-CH customers.
Penosil is characterised by modern, innovative products and an equally modern design. The brand will therefore bring a breath of fresh air to the German market. Its solution-based categorization aids customers in selecting the appropriate products for specific applications, ranging from doors and windows to roofs, facades, sanitary, decoration and more. A recent addition is the first ever ECO range, designed for sustainable construction.
German-language markets have been trading partners with the Wolf Group for a decade. The group has been a significant player in private label production, serving many prominent brands. “The new entity will give us the opportunity to reach the next level,” said Beinker-Wahl. “Our growth plans are truly ambitious.”
Wolf Group Deutschland GmbH is based in the district of Osnabrück in Melle, where the company’s sales and distribution unit is also located. In the coming months, the team will be expanded so as to efficiently cover the entire D-A-CH region.
Building professionals will have the opportunity to explore and test Penosil products at the Fensterbau Frontale trade fair in Nuremberg in March. Beinker-Wahl and the team from Wolf Group Deutschland GmbH will be in attendance to consult visitors and showcase the Penosil brand.
