Wolf Group was honored to host the best of the best in the wrestling world. The company was visited by top wrestler, European champion and multiple world championship medalist Epp Mäe and Greco-Roman wrestling talents Helary Mägisalu and Ranet Kaljola.
During the visit, the athletes learned about Wolf Group’s production operations and were able to test innovative and energy-efficient products. Wolf Group has been supporting the Estonian Wrestling Federation through its PENOSIL brand since 2018. Director of Home Band Sales Eikki Kari admitted that the sales of PENOSIL gunfoam bearing wrestling insignia increased by 40% and construction workers now refer to it as the wrestling foam. In 2019, a number of other PENOSIL products (silicone, acrylic and adhesive) started collecting support for the wrestling federation. This year, PENOSIL will be upgraded to a solution-based system. Wrestling products will still exist but will be given a new look with more colours.
Wolf Group’s CEO Peeter Tohver compared it to preparations before a big competition – in both cases, it is important to set goals, focus on results, have ambition and set standards. All of the athletes admitted that their main goal is to qualify for the next Olympics.
