This year, the headquarter of Wolf Group, Estonian capital-based manufacturer of construction chemistry and materials, and one of Estonia’s biggest exporters Krimelte celebrates its 25th anniversary. The company began in 1994 as a trading company, launched its own production four years later, and today is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of construction chemicals and materials.
In its 25 years of operation Krimelte has achieved wide recognition and has won many prestigious awards both locally and internationally. The company is titled with prominent “Exporter of the Year” and “Design Applier of the Year” awards and was a proud Estonia’s representative at the European Business Awards competition.
Krimelte prides itself on setting the highest quality standards to both its products and materials. Almost half of all Krimelte products are manufactured as ‘private-label’ brands for many of the world’s leading retailers, while the wide selection of its inhouse brands Penosil and Olivé products are conquering highly demanding markets around the world.
After 25 years in the business, Krimelte’s export market covers more than 70 countries. The sales turnover of the companies belonging to Wolf Group amounted to 105 million euros in 2018.
The company is still growing and constantly expanding. On April 30, Krimelte acquired 100% ownership interest in the Spanish company Olivé Química S.A, which is engaged in the development, production and sale of silicones, sealants and adhesives. Achieving 100% ownership in the Spanish subsidiary was a strategic step for Wolf Group | Krimelte in order to assume a stronger position on the home markets of Olivé Química, which besides Spain, includes Portugal, France, the United Kingdom and export markets in more than 50 countries. The company employs over 100 people and last year the consolidated turnover of the companies accounted for nearly 22.5 million euros. In this autumn the name of Olivé Química S.A. was changed to Krimelte Iberia S.A.U.
